Tolono Township Library was established by a referendum in November, 1968. This
referendum passed and the library opened on July 25, 1969. The township approved
a district library conversion referendum in November of 1986. It is
tax-supported by Tolono, Savoy and Sadorus residents. A new building was
officially opened on September 8, 1997, and offers many services including
programming for children and adults.
